Mental Health Counseling
We offer individual, family, and group counseling services to children ages 5-21, on a fee for service basis. Counseling is provided for a variety of issues including sexual abuse, rape, incest, domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse/dependency, anger management, parenting concerns, gang involvement, bicultural assimilation, questioning sexuality (gay, lesbian, bi-sexual), depression, trauma, anxiety, and other issues. The counselor works with the family to decrease presenting symptoms, strengthen family dynamics and increase resiliency.
Crisis counseling is available to those who have an immediate need. Once the crisis has been resolved, the client will receive information regarding follow up services with the agency or will be referred to other services to meet the needs of the family.
Medi-Cal is an accepted form of insurance for these counseling services. A sliding scale fee for low cost counseling is also available. No one will be denied access to counseling services due to inability to pay. To enroll in the counseling services, a parent or guardian would should call the number below or visit our office.
