Intensive In-Home Therapy
The Intensive In-Home program offers intensive, individualized and family counseling services to children, youth, and their families. Services are provided in the home or at community locations best-suited to the client and the family’s needs. Our staff supports and empowers families by identifying their strengths and needs, and by teaching problem solving skills.
Services are aimed at preventing further incidents of behavioral, emotional or social disturbance that may lead to out-of-home placement. We implement evidence-based practices with the family as a means to improve the child or youth’s behavior and provide structure and routine to the home environment.
Intensive In-Home Services (Lompoc and Santa Maria):
Intensive In-Home therapists provide intensive therapeutic services to a child/youth who has been assessed and admitted to the Santa Barbara County Department of Behavioral Wellness Children’s Mental Health Clinic. Therapists meet with clients and families an average of four hours per week.
Pathways to Wellbeing (Santa Maria):
FSA’s Pathways to Wellbeing therapist provides therapeutic services to children who have been placed in foster homes or with a relative guardian, having been detained from their biological families for various reasons by Child Welfare Services.
THESE PROGRAMS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE BY REFERRAL FROM SANTA BARBARA COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL WELLNESS—Access Line (888) 868-1649.
