About the Program
Rooted in Escalante Meadows and Riverview Townhomes, The Little House by the Park (LHP) offers family support services, community education, and leadership development opportunities to individuals in Guadalupe. Programs include family coaching through the navigation of resources, parenting education, and the Guadalupe Parent Academy. Families and individuals are considered vital and integral to their community at The Little House by the Park.
The Guadalupe Parent Academy offers free educational opportunities in four key areas: Leadership Development, Education, Health, and Parenting. Guadalupe Community Changers is a parent-volunteer organization under the Leadership Development umbrella of the Guadalupe Parent Academy. Guadalupe Community Changers attend school board meetings, advocate for social change, family needs, and support community projects. Parent leaders encourage civic participation and parent involvement.
